MEET DAVID REID
Photography has always been a passion of mine. From the earliest days I remember the excitement of being able to capture the emotion of a moment in time. It’s that connection between the photograph and the viewer that makes it all worth while.
Over the years as a freelance photographer I’ve learned to connect with the moment and bring it to life in my photos. My goal is to hold your attention and draw you in to the world within the image. The color, lighting, focus and energy within the image is all brought together to deliver the story of that moment.
After all we are story tellers.

OUR VISION
It is still true today that a photo says a thousand words. Capturing that moment is the single most important thing we do, it is our passion.
VISION
Our vision is to deliver in every photo or video a unique perspective that captures the moment in a special way. Through planning and creative freedom we develop a vision for each project that is specific to our clients needs.
TECHNIQUE
Mastering your craft requires countless hours of trial and error. It’s only through this journey that you can begin to develop your specific style.
Photography is a combination of equipment and creative skills. Developing each of these skills individually and together is essential for building your craft.
My technique allows my to move between these two worlds of technical and creative to produce images that are unique and individual.
DESIGN
As with any art there are design principles that one must consider when taking a photograph. At the same time it is these vary rules that we must challenge in order to be creative. Balancing is the intersection of the two.

The examples of my work are diverse and include Corporate, Sports, Equestrian, Industrial, Product and Event photography. This range and exposure to differing styles gives my photos that something new and helps to set my clients apart from the rest.
During my travels I have developed an awareness of how to connect the story with the viewer through the photo. These new perspectives often set the tone for how I capture the moment and open up opportunities to not usually used. Based in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) I’m available for photo shoots on location including locations in Durham Region, Halton Region or Markham. My work also extends internationally to the US, UK and the Pacific.
